Amaranths: Tactical Flowers

Amarantos

Look at the amaranth:
on tall mountains it grows,
on the very stones and rocks
and places inaccessible.

The Amaranths were first used inside the Paper Portrait Lanterns. Each lantern had an Amaranth hidden inside that was slowly revealed by human interaction and weather. These tactical flowers are still being placed throughout the world, often utilizing found objects where they are placed.
